Where does NÜWATER come from?

NÜWATER is sourced from a 500-meter deep artesian spring filtered by volcanic rock layers. The spring, which is located in the district of Vulkaneifel in Germany, is one of the deepest springs in the world. The volcanic filtration process is seen by many experts as being one of the purest, most natural and healthy filtration systems. It purifies the water, naturally enriches it with minerals and has great taste.
How should I store my NÜWATER?

Please store your NÜWATER in the fridge. It tastes best served cold.
What is the shelf life of NÜWATER?

NÜWATER is best enjoyed within 24 months of being canned. Each can has a printed best before date.

Why is aluminium better?

Aluminium cans are the most sustainable beverage package on virtually every measure. They are unique in that they are most often recycled directly back into themselves meaning that the average can has a very high percentage of recycled content. 75% of all aluminium ever produced since 1888 is still in productive use.
All aluminium cans are far more valuable than glass or plastic, helping make municipal recycling programs financially viable and effectively subsidizing the recycling of less valuable materials in the bin.
Making cans from recycled metal takes 95% less energy and 95% less greenhouse gas emissions than using new metal.
Is NÜWATER the most sustainable way to consume water?

Drinking from filtered tap water from a reusable carrier is the most sustainable way of drinking water. NÜWATER encourages responsible water consumption. However, we know this isn’t always possible and have therefore we decided to create the best alternative.
Is the resealable lid recyclable?

Absolutely! Our lid does not affect the recyclability of the can.

We picked a source of water renowned for its high natural mineral content, having premium mineral water was important to us.
Our manufacturing facility is located next to the source of water, and we are proud to say our entire production and manufacturing is carbon net neutral!
